Manage Prop Firms

Control which prop firms appear on your dashboard and request new firms

The Manage Prop Firms page lets you control which prop firms are tracked on your dashboard and request additions for firms we don't yet support.

Accessing Manage Prop Firms

Click Manage Prop Firms in the sidebar (under Settings & Support).

Enabling and Disabling Firms

Each prop firm has a toggle switch to control whether it appears in your dashboard analytics:

  • Enabled (toggle on) - Transactions for this firm appear in your dashboard, charts, and reports
  • Disabled (toggle off) - Transactions for this firm are hidden from analytics

When to Disable a Firm

You might disable a firm if:

  • You no longer trade with that firm
  • You want to focus on specific firms in your analytics
  • You're comparing performance excluding certain firms

Disabling a firm only hides it from your dashboard view. Your transaction data is preserved and can be shown again by re-enabling the firm.

Searching Firms

Use the search box to quickly find a specific firm by name. This is helpful when you have many firms enabled.

Requesting a New Firm

If your prop firm isn't in the list, you can request we add it:

  1. Click the "Don't see your firm listed? Let us know" button at the bottom of the page
  2. Enter the prop firm name
  3. The system checks if the firm already exists or has been requested
  4. Click Submit Request

Request Rules

  • Firm names are checked for duplicates before submission
  • If the firm already exists, you'll see a message
  • If the firm has already been requested by another user, you'll be notified
  • After submitting, there's a 5-minute cooldown before you can submit another request

What Happens Next

Our team reviews firm requests and adds supported firms to the platform. Once added:

  • The firm appears in everyone's Manage Prop Firms list
  • Auto-categorization keywords are configured
  • Transactions matching the firm are automatically categorized

How Auto-Categorization Works

PropFlow automatically assigns transactions to firms based on keywords in the transaction description. For example:

  • A transaction containing "TOPSTEP" is assigned to Topstep
  • A transaction containing "APEX" is assigned to Apex Trader Funding

When transactions come through payment processors (Wise, Rise, Coinbase, etc.), the prop firm name isn't visible, so these transactions are flagged as "Needs Review" for manual assignment.

Tips

  • Keep firms enabled even if you're not actively trading with them - it helps track your complete history
  • Check Manage Prop Firms periodically to see if new firms have been added
  • When requesting a firm, use the official firm name for faster processing
